Frustration leads to determination. Being frustrated about something makes you determined to do something. I realized today that the more frustrated I am, the more I am determined to do something that i couldn't even think of doing. Life is all about chances, taking risks. But we should always know that there is a limit for everything. We cannot go on and on, there's an end to everything, and we should realize that.
We should look what's inside than what's outside. People tend to be superficial, that's why looks is so important. But then, we should also see what's inside. We should step out of this superficial world we live in and see beyond the appearance. What's inside counts.. a lot!
"Ichigo Ichie,一期一会, once-in-a-lifetime chance". In our lives, we cross upon chances and opportunities. But some of these opportunities will come only once. This is what we call one lifetime, one chance. That's why we need to take risks because we'll never know if this opportunity will ever cross our path or never again. And at the end, we regret for not even taking the chance.
I made a promise to myself that I'm going to take all the chances I can. Live life to the fullest. Give everything I can to fight for what I believe. Continue fighting for what I want and never give up. Try to make things work. But until when? I know that we need to take risks to really know what life is all about but then, if continuing to fight for what you want leads to something more destructive, then just better give up, right? To make a clearer picture out of this, you are on this road to somewhere, and on this journey you want someone to be with you and you fight for it. But then what if along the way, that someone is starting to go different way than you are going, are you still going to continue to fight or just let go? What's the purpose of fighting if the object you're fighting for doesn't even care?
One obvious thing that someone is important to you is when you have a good news and the first person you think of sharing this to is that person. This made me realize where I really stand. What's the use to continue trying and fighting if you are no longer important?
Life is all about chances and fighting for what we believe in, for what we want. But we should always know that in the dictionary there's a word called "limitation" from the word, limit. One cannot just fight and fight, there's an end to everything. And we should know when we need to stop. Almost all the time, the mind knows when it's wise to stop. But the stubborn heart will not listen until the heart gets hurt over and over again, and it comes to a point that it cannot bear the hurt anymore that it will listen to what the mind says. "Better stop while you are still ahead."
