Have you ever encountered this thing called instant connection? Instant connection is when two people who are not even close friends, just sort-of friends or maybe just an acquaintance have this mutual intellectual and emotional connection. This connection will give you a certain feeling that you can pour all your heart out and the other person will understand what you feel. It's purely a platonic relationship but it gives you contentment and peace. It seldom happens but when it happens, it's a wonderful feeling.
Today, i found an instant connection with someone. The first time I really had the chance to talk to him, i found him really easy to talk to. It seems that he understands how I feel. When I am with him, I feel so light and there are no burdens. I can be who I am, I can do what I want and say what I want without even worrying what he'll think. It's this comfortable feeling that when you two are together you can just be yourself. And he'll understand you for being you. After all the confusion and frustration that's been happening to me lately, it's nice to have found someone like him who'll make you feel that somehow you are still a person, and a special one too.
When I think of my conversations with him, there's always encouragement and support, not actually saying it, but somehow you'll feel the care. He made me realize that my problems are not that complicated at all, it's pretty easy if I play my cards right. I can learn from anything and I should not be afraid of anything. Take risks, but decide what I really want. He's heaven-sent to help me go through all my worries, to paint things in a clearer picture for me to really understand everything and to bring back the courage I lost along the way.
"Think of yourself first, don't let go of your pride. If your pride is lost, then everything is lost. Take risks, don't be scared. Life is a test, it's all about tests. And when the outcome you'll get is not the one you wanted or even expected, then just let go. Time to put things in their proper places. It is the time to say 'no, i don't want this anymore.' Give yourself the dignity you deserve."
