Memories

After some time, memories fade. Even the most precious memory you hold on to won't last a lifetime. There would come a time that the memory you've kept in your heart and in your mind would seem more and more just like a figment of your imagination. Then, you would ask yourself whether it really happened, was it just a dream, or if it ever happened, how did it happen? You would even try your very best to remember all the details - the every skip of your heart, the every time you were lost for breath, those times your heart would ache, the times that the tears fell, the times when you just stared at him and all those wonderful times when you couldn't help but smile.

No matter how much you want to go back to that time when all you did was spend time together, holding hands, talking, smiling and enjoying every minute of it, it would never happen. Even the memory of everthing we shared is slowly fading away, just like us. The longer it is, the harder it is to hold on. One day, everything would become nothing but just a blurry memory. Our memory is just like a faint smell of the rain - it makes you feel good but you know it wouldn't last long.
